The Sweetest Season: Welcoming Baby Number Three with the Chua Family

Gielyn’s maternity session was one of those beautiful reminders of how precious family truly is. From the moment the Chuas arrived at La Loba, there was already so much warmth, laughter, and love filling the room. Every little interaction between them felt genuine and tender—a family deeply grateful for the blessing they are about to welcome.

Keeping true to their vision, we created a series of minimal and timeless portraits using soft white, gray, and cream backdrops, along with our cozy boho set-up. The simplicity of the concepts allowed their connection to shine even more naturally. Sometimes, the most beautiful images come from the quietest moments—a gentle embrace, shared smiles, and the excitement reflected in their eyes as they await the arrival of their third child.

There is always something deeply emotional about photographing maternity sessions. It is the joy of witnessing a mother’s quiet strength, a father’s excitement, and the love that grows even before a baby arrives. Gielyn carried such a beautiful maternity glow throughout the entire session—soft, radiant, and full of grace. You could truly feel how much love already surrounds this little one.

Gavin and Raechel made the session even more special with their playful energy and sweet affection for their parents and soon-to-be sibling. Watching them laugh, cuddle close, and share little moments together was incredibly heartwarming. Together with Ram and Gie, they created an atmosphere that felt so full of love, faith, and gratitude.

What makes this story even more meaningful is knowing that this child is someone they prayed and hoped for. Every photograph became more than just a portrait—it became a celebration of answered prayers, growing love, and the beautiful journey of family. Sessions like this are always a joy to capture because they preserve not only how a family looks in a moment, but how deeply they love each other through every season of life.
