What a beautiful privilege it was to capture the Van den Berg family in one of the world’s most enchanting gardens — Keukenhof, Netherlands. Spring painted the place in vibrant colors, every corner bursting with tulips and blooms that felt like sweets for the eyes. The weather was crisp, the air was cold, but the warmth of this Filipino-Dutch family of four made the afternoon unforgettable.
This shoot was extra special because they welcomed my own family to join in the experience. Between the laughter, the lively chatter in Dutch and Filipino, and the joy of simply being together, we made memories that went beyond photos.
Though tourist crowds made the session a challenge, it was all worth it — because families like theirs remind me why family photography is a niche so close to my heart.
